Seven cable variants for distributed temperature, acoustic/vibration and combined temperature, vibration and strain sensing. Select by monitoring needs and installation environment.

Install sensing fiber along cables, busbars, pipelines, perimeters or conveyors. A compatible interrogator enables continuous, spatially resolved condition monitoring.

This product comprises the seven variants and options below. Temperature rating, tensile strength and explosion-protection options depend on configuration. Temperature, vibration and strain sensing require appropriate fibers, interrogators and installation methods.

3.0 mm outer diameter; 62.5/125 μm germanium-doped multimode fiber for Raman temperature sensing; internal stainless-steel spiral armor; tensile strength at least 200 N.

Optional 50/125 μm fiber and multicore construction with SM, MM or mixed fibers. PVC or LSZH sheath, with enhanced UV, tensile and crush resistance options. An explosion-protection solution meeting Ex op is IIC T6 Gb requirements is available as an option.

Fire-related temperature monitoring in cable trenches, cable floors, cable tunnels, lithium-battery warehouses, electrolytic cells, factories, halls and grain stores; highways, metro tunnels, coal mines and petrochemical pipelines.

2–3.0 mm outer diameter; corrosion-resistant, high-temperature PTFE sheath, rated up to 350 °C depending on configuration; 62.5/125 μm germanium-doped multimode Raman temperature fiber; stainless-steel spiral armor; tensile strength at least 400 N.

High-temperature or 50/125 μm fiber options; enhanced tensile and crush resistance; selectable temperature ratings from 150 to 350 °C; multicore SM, MM or mixed-fiber construction.

Corrosive, hot, toxic, high-UV, strongly acidic or alkaline environments where standard PVC or LSZH is unsuitable and internal metal reinforcement is permitted.

2–3.0 mm outer diameter; all-dielectric, metal-free construction with a corrosion-resistant, high-temperature PTFE sheath; 62.5/125 μm germanium-doped multimode Raman temperature fiber; Kevlar braid for tensile strength, bending resistance and low loss.

Optional 50/125 μm or high-temperature fibers, multicore construction and enhanced tensile/crush resistance; SM, MM or mixed fibers.

Strong electromagnetic-interference environments. Metal-free construction avoids creepage and induced-current risks associated with metallic parts. Applications include high-voltage substations, nuclear power stations, large battery-storage systems, non-magnetic defense and aerospace installations, and harsh chemical, thermal or UV environments.

62.5/125 μm germanium-doped multimode Raman temperature fiber; configurable 2.0–3.0 mm outer diameter; internal stranded steel-wire reinforcement; tensile strength at least 2,000 N; PVC or low-smoke zero-halogen LSZH sheath.

Optional 50/125 μm fiber and multicore SM, MM or mixed-fiber construction; enhanced tensile, crush, bend and torsion resistance; custom PVC, LSZH or PTFE sheath.

Power, oil, coal mining, new energy and industrial installations with demanding tensile, torsional and bending requirements.

3–5 mm outer diameter; 9/125 μm low-loss single-mode fiber for vibration sensing; optional reinforced construction.

Multicore SM, MM or mixed fibers; enhanced tensile/crush resistance; PVC, LSZH or PTFE sheath; fence-mounted outdoor or direct-burial versions; custom vibration-sensing cavity structures matched to BLY DAS interrogators.

Perimeter security at airports, prisons and substations; vibration warning along oil pipelines, mine shafts and railways; monitoring in hazardous chemical or strong magnetic-interference environments; power-cable third-party damage detection and conveyor predictive maintenance.

5–10 mm outer diameter; multiple fibers in one cable, with mixed SM and MM fibers; supports combined temperature, vibration and strain measurement with corresponding interrogators.

Custom multicore SM, MM or mixed-fiber construction and enhanced tensile/crush resistance; PVC, LSZH or PTFE sheath; fence-mounted outdoor or direct-burial versions; compatible with BLY DTS, DAS, BOTDA and BOTDR interrogators.

Combined distributed temperature, vibration and strain monitoring for heating pipelines, dry oil wells, oil and gas lines, water and sewage pipelines, and power utility corridors.

Nominal 9 mm profile; drawing dimensions: 9.0±0.2 mm wide and 3.5±0.2 mm high. Multiple fibers in one cable with mixed SM/MM fibers; supports combined temperature, vibration and strain measurement with corresponding interrogators.

A purpose-designed surface-mount profile conforms to curved pipelines for convenient installation and close contact. Custom multicore SM, MM or mixed fibers, enhanced tensile/crush resistance, PVC/LSZH/PTFE sheath, and fence-mounted outdoor or direct-burial versions are available.

Combined temperature, vibration and strain monitoring for heating pipelines, dry oil wells, oil/gas, water and sewage pipelines, and power utility corridors, especially where close contact with a curved pipe surface is required.
